About Dr. John Brock

Dr. John Brock is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and native of West Virginia, graduating from North Marion High School. He attended college in West Virginia and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University. Dr. Brock completed a 1 year general surgery internship and formal surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida. He also completed a 1 year anesthesia fellowship at Ruby Memorial Hospital at West Virginia University in Morgantown.

Dr. Brock served 5 years in the United States Army following his residency. While in the Army he served as Chief of Maxillofacial Surgery at Martin Army Hospital in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. He also served as the Commander of the 53rd Head and Neck Surgical team deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Brock completed his military service with the rank of Major, to return to his home in West Virginia where he now resides with his wife Rochelle and 3 children, Ramsey, Kaylee and Elijah.

Dr. Brock has extensive training in all facets of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery including laser surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, treatment and reconstruction of severe facial injuries and deformities and surgery to correct congenital facial deformities.

He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the International Society of Dental Implantology.

Dr. Brock is currently a board eligible surgeon for the American Board of Laser Surgery and hopes to complete his board certification in laser surgery sometime in the next year.
