Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Jack Krajekian earned a degree in Human Anatomy and Physiology from California State University and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. His specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was completed at the Tufts University New England Medical Center.
Dr. Krajekian practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including: facial cosmetic surgeries and procedures, dental implants and bone grafting, wisdom teeth removal, sleep apnea treatment, maxillofacial trauma, and jaw and facial reconstruction.
He has written numerous articles and lectured throughout the US and overseas. He has many journal publications and also authored and published the Interactive Atlas of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology CD-ROM. Dr. Krajekian received multiple research awards and has attended advanced training courses in the areas of dental implantology, facial cosmetic surgery, anesthesia, and sleep medicine.
He is a member of several local and national professional organizations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is dual board certified in oral/maxillofacial surgery and anesthesiology.
Dr. Krajekian is committed to providing exceptional care to his patients and excellent support to the referring doctors, and strives to practice state of the art oral and maxillofacial surgeries.
Dr. Krajekian and his wife, MarieJo, welcomed their first child, Marc, in April. They reside in Charleston.
