We Have Resumed Normal Business Hours

Our patients, team members, and their families are the center of all we do as a company. Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery is closely monitoring guidelines from the CDC and are dedicated to keeping people safe and healthy.

We are resuming normal business hours and operations including all elective and non-elective treatments. As we re-open we want our patients to know they will see some changes in our offices including but not limited to social distancing measures, increased sanitization, increased use of PPE, and other changes. These changes are to protect our staff and patients as we are committed to serving the needs of our community during these difficult times.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and update our response as more information is made available from the CDC. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this difficult time.

Stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Brow Lift

Also known as a forehead lift, this procedure smooths forehead lines and wrinkles and is commonly performed in conjunction with other procedures, such as a facelift.

What is a brow lift?

A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, addresses the upper third of the face, not including the area around the eyes. This procedure offers several benefits for improving your forehead and browline. First, it creates a youthful appearance by smoothing forehead lines and wrinkles. It also reduces the depth of the vertical lines between the eyebrows, and repositions the eyebrows. By correcting a heavy, sagging brow, you achieve a more youthful contour to your face and show a more refreshed appearance. A brow lift is commonly performed in conjunction with other surgeries, such as a facelift.

You and your surgeon will discuss and determine your type of brow lift procedure during your consultation. We will also address your medical history, current health status, and attainable goals.

We typically use IV sedation or general anesthesia when performing a brow lift. Your surgeon will make small incisions within the hairline using an endoscope, which minimizes scar tissue and accelerates healing. Your surgeon will carefully elevate the underlying tissues before stitching the skin back in place. Lastly, your surgeon will remove any excess skin. Then you will rest comfortably in our office until you are ready to return home. We will provide you with detailed pre- and post-operative instructions, which you are expected to follow closely to ensure a smooth recovery.
