We Have Resumed Normal Business Hours

Our patients, team members, and their families are the center of all we do as a company. Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery is closely monitoring guidelines from the CDC and are dedicated to keeping people safe and healthy.

We are resuming normal business hours and operations including all elective and non-elective treatments. As we re-open we want our patients to know they will see some changes in our offices including but not limited to social distancing measures, increased sanitization, increased use of PPE, and other changes. These changes are to protect our staff and patients as we are committed to serving the needs of our community during these difficult times.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and update our response as more information is made available from the CDC. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this difficult time.

Stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Overview

Microdermabrasion is a noninvasive procedure that removes superficial skin cells using an exfoliation device. Since this procedure is relatively gentle, it can be used on the face, neck, hands or body. Common uses include the following:

  • Smooth fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improve hyperpigmentation (patches of skin are darker than the surrounding skin)
  • Treat acne and acne scars
  • Treat age spots
  • Improve the overall appearance of skin

Procedure

The procedure will last about 30 minutes. During this time, we gently lift and remove damaged skin. Once the exfoliated skin is vacuumed away, You may experience a mild scratching sensation, but no pain should be felt. Recovery time is minimal, if needed at all. This procedure is also safe for all skin types with very little risk for side effects.

You can expect to see results immediately after the procedure. The number of microdermabrasion sessions needed for your skin condition will depend on your skin concerns and goals, which can be established at a consultation with one of our skincare professionals.
