We Have Resumed Normal Business Hours

Our patients, team members, and their families are the center of all we do as a company. Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery is closely monitoring guidelines from the CDC and are dedicated to keeping people safe and healthy.

We are resuming normal business hours and operations including all elective and non-elective treatments. As we re-open we want our patients to know they will see some changes in our offices including but not limited to social distancing measures, increased sanitization, increased use of PPE, and other changes. These changes are to protect our staff and patients as we are committed to serving the needs of our community during these difficult times.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and update our response as more information is made available from the CDC. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this difficult time.

Stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Meet Terry

Terry looked 10 years younger after his blephs procedure.

My eyelids were drooping so bad, especially on the top, and when I would get real tired, I could really feel it, and I couldn’t see real good looking up. Well, they said they could easily take care of it for me, and also I asked him—I had little bags underneath my eyes—and I said, “Can we take care of that too?” And they did. It went very well. I feel real good; no problems with my eyes at all, and I think I probably look 10 years younger. The doctors and the staff at Mountain State Oral Surgery—they were great to deal with. Everyone was very accommodating. I’m just very pleased with the outcome from Mountain State. The surgeons there were just great.

Common questions about blepharoplasty treatment

What is a blepharoplasty?

Blepharoplasty, also known as an eyelid lift, combats wrinkles, sagging skin, puffiness, and fine lines around the eyes to reduce the signs of aging. Patients also seek this procedure when drooping eyelids impact their quality of life, such as narrowing their vision.

How does treatment work?

This procedure resolves the existing aging effects of the eye area and is often performed in coordination with other treatments, such as a facelift. At your blepharoplasty consultation, your surgeon will evaluate your condition and design a personalized treatment plan that addresses your needs.

Your doctor will administer IV sedation or general anesthesia during your blepharoplasty procedure. Next, your surgeon will make very fine incisions around the eyelid to remove excess fat and skin and lift the eye area. Then they will place skin back over the newly rejuvenated area. Once surgical sites are sutured, you will be taken into recovery.

How long does recovery take?

We will provide you with detailed pre- and post-operative instructions which you should follow closely and carefully. Many patients resume normal activities within 7 to 10 days after surgery.

What treatments should I get along with blepharoplasty?

Blepharoplasty is often performed in conjunction with other procedures, such as a facelift.
