Brow Lift

Also known as a forehead lift, this procedure smooths forehead lines and wrinkles and is commonly performed in conjunction with other procedures, such as a facelift.

Brow Lift

What is a brow lift?

A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, addresses the upper third of the face, not including the area around the eyes. A brow lift creates a youthful appearance by smoothing forehead lines and wrinkles, reducing the depth of the vertical lines between the eyebrows, and repositioning the eyebrows. A brow lift is commonly performed in conjunction with other surgeries, such as a facelift.

Brow Lift Procedure

You and your surgeon will discuss and determine your type of brow lift procedure during your consultation. We will also address your medical history, current health status, and attainable goals.

We typically use IV sedation or general anesthesia when performing a brow lift. Your surgeon will make small incisions within the hairline using an endoscope, which minimizes scar tissue and accelerates healing. Your surgeon will carefully elevate the underlying tissues before stitching the skin back in place. Any excess skin will be removed and you will rest comfortably in our office until you are ready to return home. We will provide you with detailed pre- and post-operative instructions, which you are expected to follow closely to ensure a smooth recovery.
